Perminder Singh Brar is an Assistant Professor at the MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture, where he is teaching and conducting research in Soil Science. He completed his MSc in Soil Science from Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, in 2017 and also his Doctorate from Dr Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, in 2023.
He has over one year of teaching and research experience and guided 2 MSc students of Soil Science. Presently 4 students are pursuing master's under his guidance.
He has attended national and international seminars, conferences, symposiums and training sessions and conducted 2 guest lectures. He is also editorial member of “Agriculture & Food e-Newsletter”. His present area of research includes soil fertility and soil nutrient management for sustainable crop production.
