Shoolini University hosted a delegation from The University of Melbourne, Australia, as part of its ongoing global academic engagements. The visiting delegates were David Israel, Executive Director of Global Education Strategy, and Rose Bryant Smith, Faculty Executive Director of the Science School. They participated in several key activities, marking a significant step towards international collaboration.
During their visit, David inaugurated the Glitch Tech Fest, a platform showcasing cutting-edge technological advancements, while Rose Bryant Smith inaugurated the vibrant Flower Fest, celebrating nature and creativity on campus. Additionally, Rose engaged with students in an interactive session, sharing insights into global education and career pathways. Faculty discussions further strengthened academic ties between the two institutions.
During a strategic meeting, President and Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer at Shoolini University, Prof Ashish Khosla, and David, focused on a joint venture in India for educational assessments. This initiative aims to enhance global learning standards and assessment methodologies in higher education.
The delegates also took a campus tour, visiting state-of-the-art research hubs, including the Nanotechnology Lab, AI and Futures Centre, and IPR and CRC Research Centres. Rose Bryant Smith particularly appreciated the campus for its inspiring environment for learning and research.
