Mallika Calls for Change at National Youth Parliament in Delhi

Her commanding voice echoed with confidence, filling the halls of Samvidhan Sadan in New Delhi with her impactful words. Meet Shoolini star Mallika Singh Pathania, who stole hearts at the National Youth Parliament with her speech on ‘Youth at the Helm — Leading the Way towards a Sustainable Future’. 

Dressed in traditional attire, complete with the iconic Himachali cap, she held the audience spellbound. Her exceptional performance earned her recognition from esteemed dignitaries, including Central Minister Anurag Thakur and Speaker Om Birla. 

A third-year BA Pass student from the Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts at Shoolini University, Mallika’s journey from the tranquil town of Solan to the highest platform in the country began when her father introduced her to the My Bharat Portal, where she registered for participation.  

This was her first step in competing at the district-level competition, securing the top position in Solan district. Despite a tough battle, Mallika won at the state-level competition along with 23 others. This got her a seat at the national level. 

Reminiscing about her childhood, Mallika confided that she always loved public speaking. However, it was at her alma mater, Shoolini University, that she got a chance to take her passion forward. With steadfast support from friends and teachers, she realised the importance of perseverance, patience, and strength to overcome obstacles. 

Talking to Shoolini IMPACT, she shared a powerful insight from her performance, where she recognised her role as a young individual in driving change and ensuring a sustainable future. She also reinforced her belief in “Where there is a will, there is a way,” reflecting her determination and positive attitude toward making a difference. 

But this is just the beginning for Mallika Singh Pathania. The best is yet to come!
