Shoolini University decided to celebrate this World Environment Day differently. Apart from a series of engaging educational activities aimed at raising awareness about pressing environmental issues, Shoolini student volunteers visited Majholi Government School.
The young students at the school engaged in an innovative and interactive session with Shoolini volunteers for collective action and positive changes for a sustainable future. The activities included Kulhad Painting and a movie screening based on plastic waste. These proved to be fun and life-changing experiences for the creative little minds — the frontline volunteers of a sustainable future.
Besides, the university also organised a ‘Graveyard’ activity to shed light on the alarming statistics of tobacco consumption and its environmental hazards. University students participated enthusiastically in this activity, aimed to create awareness about the detrimental effects of tobacco on human health and the environment.
Shoolini University Dean Student Welfare Poonam Nanda coordinated the event. She shared, “Let us come together and realise the potential of collective action. We hold the key to unlocking a sustainable future, where every step we take nurtures and protects our precious planet.”
