Shoolini University is taking a unique approach to training its computer science engineering students. The Yogananda School of AI, Computers & Data Science organised a three-week-long ‘Code Yoga Bootcamp’ that kicked off on 24th April. The event was inaugurated by Chancellor Prof PK Khosla.
The Code Yoga Bootcamp is a unique full-day skill enhancement program designed to help students develop the art and science of coding and gain the skills and knowledge they need to launch a successful career in tech.
“I am pleased to announce the launch of Shoolini’s ‘Code Yoga’, a one-of-a-kind University boot camp designed specifically for CSE students. This immersive program offers a comprehensive learning experience that not only equips students with real coding skills for success in the professional world but also emphasises the development of key soft skills for interviews with top companies. Our goal is to create a learning environment that fosters creativity and innovation, empowering students to excel in Computer Engineering and science,” said Innovation & Marketing President Ashish Khosla.
At the heart of Shoolini’s ‘Code Yoga’ is a unique approach that encourages students to work on their coding projects, allowing them to apply their newly acquired skills in a practical setting. We believe this hands-on experience will inspire and motivate our students to reach their full potential, setting them on the path to success in the rapidly evolving world of technology,” he added.
The Bootcamp offers full-day workshops on coding skills, sessions on data structures and algorithms, database management systems, SQL, and general English. Students are exposed to group discussions, an essential requirement for many companies’ recruitment processes.
The program covers front-end development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as back-end development with Python, Ruby on Rails, and other latest technologies used in the industry. The students have to appear for a test based on various companies’ placement tests by the end of every week.
Dr Pankaj Vaidya, the Head of the Yogananda School of AI, Computers, and Data Science, said the Yogananda School of AI, Computers & Data Science provides holistic education that fosters personal growth and professional excellence.
Thrilled to participate in the ‘Code Yoga’ Bootcamp, Vanshita Gupta of BTech CSE said the experience was enlightening. The program has not only improved her technical abilities but also equipped her with valuable soft skills that she can apply in coding and her personal life.
