The Education Fair hosted by Shoolini University on October 11 was a great success, drawing delegates from five esteemed institutions. Orchestrated by the Office of International Affairs, the event, focussing on the School of Business Management, proved a dynamic platform for fostering academic collaborations. In addition to showcasing unique scholarship opportunities, the fair benefited over 200 participating students, setting a new standard for educational engagement.
International representatives included Shivraj Kanungo, Vice-Dean of George Washington University School of Business; Christine Gozdziak, Assistant Dean of International Partnerships at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign - GIES College of Business; Arman Davtyan, Assistant Dean at Pepperdine University - Graziadio Business School; Amanda Barth, Assistant Dean at William and Mary – Raymond A. Mason School of Business; Richa Agrawal, Country Manager for Bocconi University; and Debaion Roy, Associate Director at GMAC.
The event was inaugurated by Shoolini University Chancellor Prof PK Khosla and Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla. Commending the Shoolini faculty for organising the event, the Chancellor said it provided both students and faculty with opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships in business education. The Vice Chancellor emphasised that the fair enabled knowledge exchange and empowered students to pursue their academic aspirations through various scholarship opportunities, reflecting Shoolini University's commitment to student empowerment and global partnerships in business education.
OIA Deputy Director Rozy Dhanta highlighted additional benefits for participating students, including application fee waivers from most visiting schools and access to exclusive scholarships. Notable scholarship offerings included a full scholarship for one student and 50% scholarships for two students for any of George Washington School of Business's Master's programs. Additional scholarships covered 50% of tuition for Pepperdine University's MS in Applied Finance and MS in Business Analytics programs. A full scholarship was available for the Master of Accounting and MS in Business Analytics programs at William and Mary's Mason College of Business.
Organised under the mentorship of Prof Munish Sahrawat, Dean of Management Sciences, and Prof BK Kaul, Director of Undergraduate Studies, the education fair engaged over 200 students in discussions and opportunities for international academic collaboration.
