Shoolini in collaboration with NASSCOM organised an event 'Digital Adda' highlighting the theme of ‘Future Careers in Technology’.

Shoolini University welcomed nearly 400 students and faculty members to its campus for the ‘Digital Adda’ event held on 8th September. Organised in collaboration with the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM), the event drew industry leaders and tech visionaries, highlighting the theme of ‘Future Careers in Technology’. The gathering featured rigorous discussions, panel conversations, and presentations aimed at preparing students for an ever-evolving tech landscape.
Among the distinguished guests were Karan Singh, Deputy Director of NASSCOM, and Tarik Singh from Tech Mahindra. Faculty and students from various academic disciplines, including MBA, Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Agriculture, participated actively.
Sector Skill Council CEO Kirti Seth initiated talks regarding a prospective partnership with NASSCOM right on the Shoolini campus. In a Fireside Chat segment, Anurag Sinha, CEO and Co-founder of FPL Technologies — a unicorn in the making — shared invaluable insights into the tech industry.
In his welcome address, Chancellor Prof PK Khosla talked about the swift pace of technological advancements and stressed the need for collaboration between NASSCOM and educational institutions. Shoolini University Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla echoed these sentiments, emphasising the importance of NASSCOM’s training and partnership in equipping students for a rapidly shifting tech environment.
A lively panel discussion moderated by Kaamna Jain from the Sector Skill Council of NASSCOM featured industry experts such as Taarik Singh from Tech Mahindra and Ramanjeet Singh, Director and CEO of Woosper Infotech. During this session, Shoolini University President (Innovation) Ashish Khosla announced an exciting new partnership focused on future skills.
Adding to the intellectual diversity of the event, another panel of industry experts, including Soumyajit Chakraborty, CEO of SoftProdigy, and Hirdesh Madan, Co-founder of Hitbullseye, fielded questions from students on topics like gaining field experience and preparing for internships.
The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony and a vote of thanks by Prof Munish Sehrawat, Dean of Management Sciences at Shoolini University. He highlighted the importance of collaboration and ongoing learning in the fast-paced world of technology.
By hosting the ‘Digital Adda’ event, Shoolini University has reaffirmed its commitment to technological advancement. The event also offered students a valuable opportunity to engage with industry leaders, shaping the trajectory of their future careers in technology.
