The systematic and objective process of collecting, recording, and analyzing data to make meaningful decisions is called research. Research can be theoretical or applied, but more importantly, it involves patient study and scientific investment, where the researcher carefully examines data to discover deeper knowledge and achieve plausible outcomes. Recognising the significance of research methodologies, this workshop is planned with the aim of exploring the fundamental dimensions of research and prompting participants to reconsider the assumptions underlying historical paradigms of research. Upon successful completion of this workshop, participants are likely to have developed skills in efficient literature review, hypotheses development, framing research design, sampling techniques, and producing quality research reports/proposals.
