Shoolini University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Rekhi Foundation to establish the ‘Rekhi Centre of Excellence for the Science of Happiness’ at Shoolini University. Shoolini University Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla and Rekhi Foundation for Happiness founder and R Systems CEO Satinder Singh Rekhi signed the MoU during a ceremony in Delhi.

Prof Atul Khosla said this partnership marked a significant stride in fulfilling Shoolini University’s fourth mission. “We are on an exciting path to promote the Science of Happiness that aligns perfectly with our ethos of providing a holistic educational experience and fostering overall well-being,” he stated.

The Rekhi Centre of Excellence is set to revolutionise the academic landscape, offering an innovative range of courses focusing on happiness and well-being, starting February 1. These pioneering courses, including ‘Happy and Effective Leaders of Mindfulness, Science of Happiness, Diet and Nutrition for Happiness, Astrology for Happiness’, and ‘Yoga for Health, Healing, and Happiness’, have been designed to enhance various dimensions of individual wellness.

“We are grateful to the Rekhi Foundation for their support in establishing this unique centre. The courses will enrich our academic portfolio and create a positive and nurturing environment for our students,” Prof Khosla added.

Director, School of Ancient Indian Wisdom & Yogic Studies at Shoolini University, Saamdu Chetri, emphasised the transformative potential of the Rekhi Centre of Excellence for holistic well-being. “Aiming to become a premier hub for happiness research, education, and practical application, the Centre is committed to a multidisciplinary exploration of happiness. It seeks to provide students with essential insights and tools for personal and professional development, ensuring a well-rounded approach to understanding and cultivating happiness,” he added.
