Undergraduate Scholarships

Shoolini University Scholarship Scheme Academic Year 2021-22* 

1. Single Parent

Benefit & Criteria: Equivalent to 20% of tuition fee for first year only

  • Minimum 65% marks in preceding degree
  • Income below Rs. 5 Lakhs
  • Continuation of scholarship next year based on minimum 7.0 CGPA in previous year

Documents Required:

  • Class XII final board exam mark sheet
  • Copy of the death certificate of the parent
  • Bank account statement of the surviving parent for the last one year* 
  • Income certificate

2. Merit Scholarship for CSE and Core Engineering UG programs based JEE Mains Score

  • 90 percentile above: 50% tuition fee waiver for first and third semester only. Scholarship to continue next year (only for odd semesters) based on 9.0 OGPA and no backlog.
  • 85 percentile above-90 percentile: 35% tuition fee waiver for first and third semester only.  Scholarship to continue next year (only for odd semesters) based on 8.5 OGPA and no backlog.
  • 80-85 percentile: 20% tuition fee waiver for first two semesters only. No continuation of scholarship next year.

Documents Required:

  • JEE mains score card
  • XII class final mark sheet

3. Merit Scholarship for UG programs based on Class XII marks/ diploma marks

  • 90% and above - Equivalent to 50% of tuition fee waiver for 1st and 3rd semester only
  • 85% -90% - Equivalent to 30% of tuition fee waiver for 1st and 3rd semester only

Note: Overall percentage across all  the subjects will be considered

4. UG Merit Scholarship for exceptional students

Benefit & Criteria:

Above 95% in XII - Equivalent to upto 100% of tuition fee waiver  for limited semesters only.   

  • Scholarship to continue in subsequent years if cumulative OGPA is 9.5 or above year-on-year
  • There will be no hostel fee waiver, and the final decision on scholarship will be based on the interview/ interaction with the Scholarship Committee.

Documents Required:

  • Above 95% in XII, minimum 80% marks in class X and Shoolini internal entrance test
  • X and XII class final board exam mark sheet
  • Statement of purpose

5. Need-cum-merit scholarship for UG programs   

Benefit & Criteria:

Up to 50% scholarship on tuition fee for all years

  • Minimum 65% marks in preceding degree
  • Family annual income below Rs. 5 lacs
  • Continuation of scholarship next year based on minimum 8.0 CGPA in previous year

Documents Required:

  • Class XII final board exam mark sheet
  • Bank account statement of the father for the last one year*
  • Bank account statement of the mother for the last year
  • Income certificate
  • A small write-up explaining the family situation

6. Defense Scholarship

Benefit & Criteria: A 10% tuition fee scholarship for first and third semesters only

  • A minimum of 65% marks in the preceding degree

Note: Only for non-commissioned officers/ jawans

Criteria & Documents: 

  • Employment ID of the father or the mother

7. Sports Scholarship

Benefit & Criteria: 

International level- For Olympic sports, cricket and football, 50% tuition fee waiver in the first and third semester only

National level – For Olympic sports, cricket and football, through recognized association, 25% tuition fee waiver in the first and third semester only

  • A minimum of 60% in the preceding degree

Documents Required: 

  • Participation or winning certificate for International or National level sport played
  • Copy of XII final mark sheet

8. Kashmiri migrant students 

Benefit & Criteria: Equivalent to 10% of tuition fee for one year only

Note: A minimum of 65% marks in the preceding degree 

Documents Required:

  • Class XII final board exam mark sheet
  • Copy of the Kashmiri Migrant Certificate 

9. Sh. Parmahansa Yogananda Scholarship

Benefit & Criteria: A one-time award of Rs. 50,000

On the basis of the total score in the written test based on the book “Autobiography of a Yogi”.

Documents Required:

  • No documents are required 

10. Scholarship for wards of Shoolini/ SILB employees   

Benefits & Criteria:

UG/PG Scholarships Equivalent to 100% of tuition fee to the children of all faculty/ staff members subject to following terms and conditions. 

  • A minimum of 60% in the preceding degree program
  • Continuation of scholarship next year based on a minimum of 7.0 CGPA in the previous year
  • This policy is not applicable for wards of Shoolini vendors/contractors.

Documents Required: 

  • Proof of your parent(s) as an employee of Shoolini University/ SILB for a minimum of two full years.

11. Scholarship for Shoolini Employees   

Benefit & Criteria: Non-Teaching Staff – Equivalent to a 100% tuition fee waiver in the full course fee.

  • For employees who have completed at least two full year of employment with Shoolini University/SILB on date of application
  • Continuation of the scholarship in the next year will be based on a minimum of 6.5 CGPA in the previous year.

Documents Required: 

  • Proof of having completed at least two full years of employment with Shoolini University/SILB on the date of application
  • Continuation of job subject to the decision of the management.

Terms and Conditions for Shoolini University Scholarships 2022

  1. Scholarships are not available for Pharma, Journalism, Agriculture, and Law Programs. Exceptional cases can be reviewed on special request.
  2. Limited scholarships are available for three-year Programs. Exceptional cases can be reviewed on special request. 
  3. Only admitted students of 2022 are eligible to avail scholarship benefits of Scholarships announced in 2022.
  4. Please Note minimum 75% attendance is mandatory in the preceding semester for the scholarship to continue in subsequent years/ semesters
  5. All scholarships will be adjusted only against the tuition fee of the student.
  6. Original documents, depending upon the type of scholarship applied for, will be required to avail scholarship, while soft copies MUST be uploaded in the application form. 
  7. Irrelevant/expired/non-legible documents will result in scholarship cancellation and forged documents will lead to cancellation of registration of the student, if found later as well.
  8. Only one scholarship can be availed at the time of admission. Scholarship availed once will continue as per terms and conditions of that scholarship. The same will not be changed to other scholarship, unless approved by the Scholarship Committee.
  9. All scholarships conditions such as definitions, annexures, eligibility, scholarship number are mentioned in the document.
  10. No scholarship will be awarded to the students later if scholarship is not availed at the time of his/her admission.
  11. Number of applicants for a certain scholarship are always more than the number of scholarship. Only the most deserving student will receive the scholarship. Therefore, even after meeting eligibility conditions, the Scholarship Committee holds the right to reject a request for scholarship. 
  12. Any scholarship may be discontinued by the University without intimation.
  13. The Shoolini University Scholarship Committee holds all discretion on award of scholarships and its decision will be over riding.
