
Shoolini University signed various MoUs with universities in Taiwan for exchange of students and faculty.

The No.1 Private University of India (Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023), Shoolini University, has signed various Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with universities in Taiwan for exchange of students and faculty.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla signed the MoUs on behalf of Shoolini University in Taiwan. The first was signed with Cheng Shui University and the second with I-Shou University.
The MoUs provide for student exchange at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels and faculty exchange programmes, including PhD thesis evaluation, joint publications, and summer and winter internships. These would include establishing an international college on the Shoolini campus. Universities in Taiwan will offer scholarships for higher education to Shoolini students. Both institutions agreed to provide residential facilities and fellowships to support eligible students.
Prof Khosla said great opportunities are opening up in Taiwan’s world-class universities for Shoolini University students. He also stated that this would enable exchange programmes for students and faculty, among other things.
The criteria to avail of fully funded scholarships for the student exchange programmes include the stipulation that the student must attain more than 7 CGP in their examination. The selection procedure will also have a personal interview.
Presidents of National Formosa University, I-Shou University, Cheng Shiu University, and Asia University promised to visit Shoolini University soon. Prof Atul Khosla said another delegation from Shoolini University would visit Taiwan soon.
Shoolini University Office of International Affairs Director Prof RP Dwivedi said this collaboration was mutually beneficial and would help internationalise the campus on a new scale. He added that many students at Shoolini University were looking for an opportunity in Taiwan, and this visit would surely increase the number of students and joint publications.
The Ministry of Education funded the delegates' visit to universities in Taiwan through the Embassy of Taiwan in New Delhi and partially by universities in Taiwan.
Prof Atul Khosla was the guest of honour at the National Formosa University during its 42nd anniversary celebrations. Delegates visited universities in Taiwan, including National Taiwan University, Taipei Medical University, National Formosa University, Chung Yuan Christian University, Kaohsiung Medical University, I-Shou University, Asia University, Feng Chia University, National Chung Hsing University, and Cheng Shiu University.
