Shoolini University, India’s No. 1 Private University based in Kasauli Hills, Himachal Pradesh, joined hands with Jammu Sahodaya Complex to organise a day-long School Principals Conclave and Shiksha Bhushan Awards ceremony in Jammu recently. The high-profile event was attended by more than 60 school principals from Jammu, Kathua, and Udhampur. Jammu Sahodaya School Complex president Rajesh Rathore and Vice President Kunal Anand represented the school. Shoolini University’s delegation included Trustee and Vice President Avnee Khosla, and Head of Outreach, Shikha Sood.
The conclave highlighted the shared commitment of Shoolini University and Jammu Sahodaya Complex to nurturing a culture of ongoing education, research, and innovation in the educational sector.
It provided an engaging platform for educators, principals, and academic leaders to exchange ideas, celebrate achievements, and collaboratively plan for the future of education in the region. A consensus was reached on the critical importance of research-based learning for enhancing education quality.
A panel discussion themed 'Strategic Leadership for Schools in the Changing Scenario' was one of the highlights of the day. The event also featured an inspiring talk by educator Vijaya Puri, who shared her belief in her duty to offer a holistic education to her students despite her physical limitations.
