M.Sc. Biotechnology and Microbiology Students selected for International exchange opportunities.
Apart of Excellent education and training in research, School of Biotechnology at Shoolini University is continuously providing international opportunities to its Biotechnology and Microbiology students. In that line six of its M.Sc. Biotechnology and Microbiology students have got funded opportunities as part of exchange program to pursue one-semester research in the world-class Universities. Two of M.Sc. students (Ms. Prachitee and Mr. Rahul) have been selected to pursue one-semester research in the University of Naples, Italy. Ms. Lavanya will be availing one-semester research opportunity in University of Arkansas, USA. Ms. Rashmi and Ms. Hiranya will be availing one-semester research opportunity in IAESTE Spain and Poland, respectively. Ms. Shradha Tiwari is going to Kwazulu Natal University, Durban, South Africa.
Apart from availing opportunities’ overseas a large number of students have also been selected for summer internship in best research institutes of India, which includes Center for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB, Hyderabad), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Guwahati), National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI, Karnal), Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM, Jammu), Indra Gandhi Medical College (IGMC, Shimla), State Forensic lab Junga, University of Delhi, Institute of Himalayan Bioresourse Technology (IHBT, Palampur) to name a few.
Because of excellent training of our students, biotech companies also like to hire M.Sc. students from Shoolini. In the current year companies like Biocon, Panacea biotech, Significant, Abbott, Thermo Fischer Scientific etc. visited Shoolini University as part of the placement drive and offered placement to its M.Sc. Biotechnology and Microbiology students.
