Hundreds of students from across the country participated in the virtual storytelling competition hosted by the Lit Witz Club at Shoolini University on Hindi Diwas. They kept the spirit of the occasion alive during these tough times by relating fictional stories as well as real life experiences.

Vice Chancellor Prof PK Khosla congratulated the winners and encouraged them to promote the national language.
The students from the North East who participated in the Hindi Diwas competition, broke the preconceived notion that people from that part of the country could not speak Hindi properly.
E-certificates were awarded to students for participation and the winners were given virtual trophies.

The storytelling event was judged by Mrs Poonam Nanda, Dean Student Welfare and Assiatant Professor Purnima Bali. First prize was grabbed by B Pharmacy (5th sem) student Anushka, second prize went to B Pharmacy (7th sem) student Ruchika and the third prize was given to B Tech Food and Technology (7th sem) student Aditya. A special prize was given to Catherine, student of BSc Yoga (1st Sem).

Assistant Prof and coordinator of the event, Dr Purnima Bali, said, “It was nice to see students from different parts of the nation participate enthusiastically and share their views on different aspects of life. It was also an opportunity for students to showcase their talent.” The event was successfully coordinated by students Ayushi and Mishika.
