Shoolini University Founder Chancellor Prof PK Khosla was conferred the ‘Enduring Edupreneur’ honour at SamRiddhi 2025, organised by the Re-Think India Foundation. The recognition was inspired by the ideals of Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya and acknowledged Prof Khosla’s long-standing contributions to higher education and institution-building.
The honour recognised Prof Khosla’s journey of ‘Trysts with Karma’, marked by his decision to invest his and his wife’s lifetime savings to establish the not-for-profit Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB). The initiative was launched after his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishva Vidyalaya, Palampur, and his role as Senior Scientific Advisor to the Government of Himachal Pradesh.
Prof Khosla is widely regarded for his leadership in education and research. During his time at HPKVV, Palampur, he played a key role in strengthening agricultural education and scientific research. At Shoolini University, his vision shaped the institution’s growth with a strong focus on research output, industry linkages, global collaborations, and student-focused learning. His work in higher education has contributed to academic capacity building and national development.
Founded as a not-for-profit institution, Shoolini University has gradually expanded its academic and research footprint across disciplines, with a focus on science-led education and applied research. Under Prof Khosla’s leadership, the university developed systems that linked research output with industry relevance and global academic exchange, positioning it among India’s research-focused private universities.
