Tansen ki khoj
From a packed auditorium to buzzing Instagram polls, the 2025 edition filled the campus with colour

Music took over the Shoolini University campus as Tansen Ki Khoj 2025 brought students together for an evening full of rhythm, nerves, and loud cheering. The on-campus finale carried the familiar excitement of a live contest — buzzing corridors, friends practising one last time, and an auditorium filled with anticipation long before the first performance began.

The stage saw everything from classical notes to Bollywood favourites and modern tracks. Each singer came with a personal spark — some steady and calm, some bold and adventurous — and the audience loved every bit of it. Judges had a tough time, with students bringing their own colour to the stage — steady notes, bold choices, and songs with real feeling.

In the end, Aditya lifted the trophy after a performance that captivated the audience. His confidence, tone, and connection with the listeners made him the clear Winner. Vanshika earned the Runner-up title with a powerful, expressive rendition that drew loud applause and warm support from her peers. The energy inside the hall stayed high throughout, turning the evening into a shared celebration rather than just a competition.

This year also introduced a new addition — the online round. It began quietly, almost like an experiment, but within days it grew into a little wave. Students sent in clips recorded in hostels, classrooms, and quiet corners, each one reflecting the ease with which young singers now blend music and digital storytelling.

The judging for the online category took place through an Instagram poll, giving the student community the chance to back their favourites. The poll stayed active all day, with close margins and enthusiastic voting.

Naitik became the first Online Edition Winner after getting the highest number of votes. His entry stood out for its clarity, style, and its connection with listeners watching on their phones.

Director of Sustainability and Community Engagement Poonam Nanda said the spirit of participation this year showed how strongly music resonated with students. She added that the online round brought a fresh, playful energy to the event.

Tansen Ki Khoj 2025 ended on a warm, spirited note — with live cheers, digital votes, and a campus that clearly enjoys celebrating its young voices.
