Suresh Nanwani, Emeritus Professor at Shoolini University, is a global expert in business and law, and mentoring and coaching. With over 35 years of international development experience, he has worked with leading international organisations, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the New Development Bank (NDB).
As an author and scholar, he has published widely on areas covering international financial institutions, law and development, governance, accountability, Sustainable Development Goals, organisation management, Appreciative Inquiry, ikigai, living educational theory research, and Belt and Road Initiative.
He is a Professor in Practice at Durham University, UK, and a member of the Practitioners’ Advisory Board for Global Policy journal. Emeritus Professor Nanwani also teaches at various universities worldwide, bringing his rich experiences and global perspectives to classrooms.
At Shoolini University, he shares his expertise in business, law, and interdisciplinary studies while providing counsel to enhance the university's educational quality and strengthen research initiatives. Based in Manila, he actively collaborates with Shoolini for a world-class academic environment.
Emeritus Professor Nanwani’s professional expertise includes international financial institutions, governance and accountability, positive organisation development, Appreciative Inquiry, ethics, anti-corruption, dispute resolution, mentoring, and coaching as well as Ubuntu coaching.
His professional roles include serving as an Accredited Mediator with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, UK, and holding an Associate Certified Coach credential with the International Coaching Federation, US. He also holds a Global Individual Accreditation (EIA) Practitioner certification from the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) Global.
His career spans decades of impactful work in project lending, law and development, compliance, governance, accountability, mentoring, coaching, and ethics. He has provided advisory and leadership roles in international financial institutions, leveraging his deep expertise to address complex challenges in global development.
