Shilpa Sharma

Shilpa Sharma is an assistant professor at Shoolini University Centre for Distance and Online Education. She holds a PhD in Agri-Business Management from Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni. She also earned her MBA (Agri-Business Management) with specialisation in Marketing and Economics, and a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from the same institution.

Her academic and research interests focus on agricultural marketing, value chain development, supply chain management, and strengthening market systems for small and marginal farmers in hill regions. She is committed to integrating research, teaching, and extension to enhance farmer income and sustainable agricultural development.

Asst Prof Sharma teaches Agricultural Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Leadership and Organisational Behaviour, and AI & Future Technologies using experiential and application-oriented methodologies.

She has held key administrative and academic leadership roles, including Examination Manager, Course Coordinator for NAAC Accreditation (BBA Program), and Event Strategy & Operations Coordinator. She has successfully managed university-level academic operations, accreditation documentation, immersion programs, and major institutional events.

Asst Prof Sharma has also contributed as an External Paper Setter and actively participates in professional development programs in research methodology, agri-entrepreneurship, and digital education tools.
