Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. Has post-PhD research experience working in an International Forest Biomass Project with the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR), Indonesia in collaboration with the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Environmental Biology, Columbia University, USA. Received MPhil and PhD from JNU, New Delhi in Environmental Sciences with CSIR-UGC JRF(NET) fellowship. Is the Coordinator for the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun (IIRS) Distance Learning Programme for Remote Sensing, GIS & GNSS at Shoolini University. Has received a national grant from National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS). Currently studying the regeneration status and carbon sequestration potential of Himalayan forests and the patterns of Environmental Dynamics in the Western Himalayas using Remote Sensing and GIS.
