A proud native of Palampur district in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, aged 37. Raised in a nurturing environment with my father, a retired army officer, and my mother, a dedicated homemaker, I learned the values of perseverance and commitment from a young age.
With 13 years of immersive experience in the hospitality industry, my journey has been a dynamic blend of academic pursuits and professional engagements. I commenced my career with training at the esteemed Hotel JW Marriott in Chandigarh, laying the foundation for a diverse career path ahead.
Subsequently, I held key roles at prominent establishments such as Hotel Royal Plaza and Hotel The Park in New Delhi, as well as with Norwegian Cruise Line in Miami, Florida, United States of America. These experiences shaped my expertise across various facets of hospitality management, from operations to guest relations.
My academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management from Chandigarh and a Master's in Hospitality and Tourism from IGNOU, New Delhi.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of contributing to academia, serving as an Academic Head at NFCI Jalandhar and as Head of the Department of Hospitality and Tourism at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology, Jalandhar. Additionally, I've shared my expertise as an Assistant Professor at Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Jalandhar, and CT Group of Institutions, Jalandhar, specializing in food production and food & nutrition.
A culinary aficionado at heart, I hold certifications and specialization in Indian curries and tandoor cuisine, along with proficiency in continental and Japanese cuisine. This diverse skill set reflects my commitment to excellence and innovation in culinary arts.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I cherish spending time with my family and exploring the serene landscapes of Himachal Pradesh. Whether it's indulging in outdoor adventures or honing my culinary skills further, I embrace every opportunity for growth and enrichment.
