Dianah Irenge Manane, is a Teaching Assistant at Shoolini University. She comes with a strong academic and professional background in environmental management and pollution control. She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Pollution and Environmental Control from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom (2014), and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Sciences and Management from Sokoine University of Agriculture, Tanzania (2010).

Her research interests include water resource management, climate change adaptation, hydrological extremes (floods and droughts), environmental pollution, and sustainable remediation technologies.

She has over four years of professional experience in environmental management within the mining industry, with expertise in environmental monitoring (water and air quality), meteorology, waste management, rehabilitation of waste dumps and tailings storage facilities, bioremediation of contaminated soils, environmental modelling, environmental auditing, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and Environmental Management Planning (EMP).

She has actively contributed to research projects focused on arid and semi-arid environments in Namibia under UNESCO Chair initiatives. Dianah is a member of the International Association of Hydrological Sciences (IAHS) and the Environmental Assessment Professional Association of Namibia. She is also a recipient of the International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG)–IAHS Early Career Scientist Grant, awarded during the 100th IUGG Conference in Canada (2019).
