Devanshi Pandit

Devanshi Pandit is an Assistant Professor at the MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture, where she specialises in research and teaching in the field of Plant Pathology. She holds both a BSc in Agriculture and an MSc in Plant Pathology from Chaudhary Sarwan Kumar Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Palampur. She further pursued her Doctoral degree from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences-Jammu.
Asst Prof Pandit has enriched her professional experience through her tenure as a Block Technology Manager in the Department of Agriculture (H.P.) from 2011 to 2012 under the centrally sponsored scheme (NMAET), and as an Assistant Block Technology Manager in the Department of Agriculture (J&K) from 2014 to 2017, also under the centrally sponsored scheme (NMAET).
Her academic journey is complemented by active participation in various national and international seminars, conferences, symposiums, and training sessions. Asst Prof Pandit's scholarly contributions extend to the publication of numerous research papers in prestigious national and international journals. Her current research focuses on the identification, variability studies, and management of plant pathogens, as well as the identification and diagnosis of disease samples and their remedial measures for farmers.
Her dedication to excellence has been recognised with the Best Thesis Award for her PhD research work at an international conference held at Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla (H.P.) in 2022. She is a life member of the ‘Society for Bioinformatics and Biological Sciences' and serves as an Editorial Member (Plant Pathology) of ‘Just Agriculture’ eMagazine.
With her expertise and commitment to advancing knowledge in Plant Pathology, Asst Prof Devanshi Pandit contributes significantly to the academic and research endeavors of the MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture at Shoolini University.
