Tanbeer Kaur is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. She has submitted her PhD at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She holds an MSc in Food and Nutrition from the Govt College for Girls, Patiala, and a BSc in Home Science, specialising in Dietetics, from Govt Home Science College, Chandigarh.
Her research focuses on the physico-chemical and textural properties of rice and rice products, proximate composition, in vivo texture evaluation of various food products, and community nutrition. Asst Prof Tanbeer Kaur has published numerous high-quality research articles in Scopus-indexed journals and has over five years of experience in the field.
She teaches courses such as Community Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, Introduction to Food Groups, Food Hygiene and Sanitation, Institutional Food Service Management, and Nutritional Assessment and Surveillance. She is the course coordinator for the MSc Nutrition and Dietetics program.
