Suman Rawat is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. She is a highly motivated and energetic yoga therapist with deep knowledge of yogic texts and their therapeutic applications for enhancing health and wellness. Passionate about inspiring others to improve their overall well-being and commit to long-term fitness goals, Asst Prof Rawat brings extensive training in yoga therapy, de-addiction yoga, advanced yoga, yogic anatomy and physiology, and yogic philosophy.
Asst Prof Rawat holds a PhD in Yoga from Shoolini University, a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and a Bachelor of Science in Yoga Science from Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga. Her academic accomplishments include qualifying for the UGC-NET (Yoga) twice, filing a patent for an "ERGONOMIC CHAIR" in 2022, publishing two research papers, and being granted a patent on "Mindfulness at Workplace - Enhancing Wellbeing, Productivity, and Resilience."
She teaches Yoga Therapy, Common Ailments, Patanjali Yoga Darshan, and Yoga Practical. Asst Prof Rawat also holds roles as the Academic Coordinator and NAAC Coordinator. Her expertise in the field of yoga therapy makes her an invaluable resource for the YSSH.
