Srishti Mathur is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University, having qualified both NET and SET in 2019. She is not only a scholar but also an educator and content creator, running a YouTube channel called ‘Directive Deck House’ to promote nutrition-related information.
With three years of teaching experience, Srishti Mathur has taught space nutrition, military nutrition, eating disorders, sports nutrition, and therapeutic diets for various diseases. She is actively involved in public speaking and was recently invited by FSSAI to speak on food labelling and packaging for consumer awareness.
Her research includes a published paper in the journal Sustainable Chemistry and Pharmacy, titled ‘Xylitol: Production Strategies with Emphasis on Biotechnological Approach, Scale Up, and Market Trends’ (2023, Elsevier, Scopus), which has a Q1 index and an impact factor of 6. She has four patent applications related to Brewer spent grain and xylitol production, and a published book chapter in Walnut Publication's ‘Storage Entomology and Beneficial Insects’.
Asst Prof Srishti Mathur has presented her work at international conferences, including ISAHRD (2023), GRISAAS (2022), and Safety-2022. Her research has earned her multiple awards, including the Best Research Scholar Award and first prize for a poster presentation at an international conference.
In her pursuit of continuous learning, she has completed several notable online courses, such as ‘The New Nordic Diet: From Gastronomy to Health’ from the University of Copenhagen, ‘Dairy Production and Management’ from PennState College of Agricultural Sciences, and ‘The Science of Gastronomy’ from The Hong Kong University of Science & Technology.
