Sandipta Ghosh is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. She earned her PhD and MSc in Botany from the University of Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal, and BSc (Hons) Botany from Dinabandhu Andrews College, Kolkata, West Bengal.
Her research is focused on the extraction, purification, and structural characterisation of bioactive myconutrients and their in vitro applications. Asst Prof Sandipta Ghosh is particularly interested in the immunological activity of natural products, specifically mushroom-derived polysaccharides in macrophage cell lines. Her research contributions are well-documented through numerous high-quality research articles and book chapters published in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and books. She has also presented her research findings at various national and international conferences.
At Shoolini University, Asst Prof Sandipta Ghosh teaches a range of subjects, including Introduction to Immunology, Instrumentation Methods and Analysis, Cell Biology, Principles of Microbiology, Biodiversity and Conservation, and Our Survival: Biodiversity & Sustainability.
