With a robust background encompassing 15 years of corporate and academic exposure, Rahul has established himself as a seasoned professional.
In his diverse career, Asst Prof Rahul Chandel has contributed significantly to the field, with over 15 publications in high-impact international scientific journals and two patented designs in energy. His industry stints include working with prestigious organisations such as the National Institute of Solar Energy, Gurgaon, and MNCs like NIIT Tech Ltd, Solaria Corporation, USA, and Welspun Energy Ltd.
Currently pursuing his PhD in Energy, Asst Prof Rahul Chandel is an integral part of the Centre of Excellence in Energy Science and Technology at Shoolini University. As an Assistant Professor, he delivers courses related to Photovoltaics, Sustainable Buildings, and Renewable Energy, leveraging his rich industry and research experience.
Asst Prof Rahul Chandel current research focuses on the design and use of photovoltaic-thermoelectric systems for cooling PV power plants and building applications, employing CFD and energy modelling approaches. His internationally recognised research work is published in reputable SCI journals such as Wiley and Elsevier.
In addition to his teaching and research contributions, Asst Prof Rahul Chandel has played a pivotal role in various university initiatives. He actively contributed to the development of the Shoolini-AIU national document on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), conducted energy data analysis for world rankings, and streamlined energy and efficiency methods and technologies for use in Shoolini University, showcasing his commitment through his patents and contributions to energy policies.
