Priyanshi Kaushik is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University. A Gold Medalist in her bachelor's and master's degrees in yoga science from the University of Patanjali, Uttarakhand, she earned her PhD from the same institution. Her exceptional academic achievements were recognised with an award presented by the then President of India, Ram Nath Kovind. She qualified for the UGC-NET in 2019.
Kaushik's research explores the therapeutic and transformative potential of yoga, with a particular focus on geriatric health. Her studies address critical areas such as sleep quality, gait, balance, and life satisfaction while also examining contemporary challenges like smartphone addiction and body image perception through the lens of yoga. She has contributed to reputed journals and book chapters, and is the author of the upcoming book, ‘Rail Me Aadhyatmik Mail’.
An experienced and certified yoga instructor, she blends practical expertise with academic rigour in Yoga Science and Psychology. She has played an active role in International Yoga Day celebrations and trained under the guidance of Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj. Her teaching extends to online platforms, where she conducts specialised courses in human anatomy for yoga practitioners.
Kaushik is also a national-level yoga player, with 10 gold medals from SGFI championships. Her athletic achievements extend to taekwondo and other yoga competitions. A certified pranic healer, she has also earned diplomas in Ayurveda, Sanskrit, and music, reflecting her interdisciplinary approach to wellness and education.
Her passion for holistic well-being, innovative teaching, and impactful research makes her a valuable contributor to yoga and health sciences.
