Priya Sharma

Priya Sharma is an Assistant Professor at the Shoolini University Centre for Distance and Online Education (SCDOE). She holds a PhD in Business Management from Dr. YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, where she also completed her MBA with specialisations in Human Resource Management and Marketing. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA) from Himachal Pradesh University.

Her doctoral research focused on farmers’ adoption behaviour towards farm technologies in hill farming systems of Himachal Pradesh, while her MBA research examined women empowerment through awareness of government welfare schemes. Her academic interests include management research, rural development, and social empowerment studies.

Asst Prof Priya is skilled in data analysis and research tools such as MS Office, IBM SPSS, and STATA, and also holds a diploma certification in Oracle. During her academic journey, she received several scholarships, certificates of merit, and awards for academic excellence.

Alongside academics, she has actively participated in co-curricular and institutional activities, taking on organisational and management responsibilities in various programs. As an educator, she is committed to creating an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and student development. She continues to contribute to teaching, research, and academic activities within the university.
