Pankaj Kumar Chauhan is a Associate Professor in the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology at Shoolini University. He holds a PhD from HNB Central University Garhwal, Srinagar, and an MSc in Biochemistry from the same institution. He earned his BSc (Medical) from BBN PG College, Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. 

With a research focus on the extraction and purification of bioactive phytonutrients, Prof Chauhan explores their in-vitro and in-vivo applications against diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases. He has published high-impact research articles and book chapters in reputable SCI and Scopus journals/books. Moreover, he holds over 15 utility patents, a testament to his innovative approach in the field. 

As a lifetime member of various scientific societies, Prof Chauhan has completed three research projects funded by DST Govt. of India as Co-PI. Currently, he is actively engaged in an Indo-Russian DST-funded research project in the capacity of Co-PI. His expertise extends beyond research, as he frequently delivers scientific talks at national and international conferences. 

Within the academic realm at Shoolini University, Prof Chauhan imparts knowledge in courses such as Chemistry of Biomolecules, Food as Medicine, Nutraceuticals, and Functional Foods.
