Neha Kukrety

Associate Professor

Neha Kukrety is an Associate Professor at Shoolini University. She is an academician and researcher with over 12 years of diverse experience spanning the finance industry and higher education. After a successful career in merchant banking, where she held leadership roles at several esteemed financial institutions, she transitioned into academia with a mission to shape the next generation of finance professionals.  

Assoc Prof Kukrety holds a PhD in Management from DIT University. She has also earned a PGDM in Banking and Finance from Manipal University, an MCom in Finance, and a BCom (Hons) in Finance—both from Banaras Hindu University. In addition, she has completed several professional certifications, including CAIIB, JAIIB, IRDA, NSDL, NISM, and CFP Level IV. 

She has also been a visiting faculty member at DIT University and UPES University, delivering lectures in Finance, Corporate Law, and Taxation. She is a Certified Assets Trainer for NSIC Uttarakhand and SMAU Haridwar. 

Before transitioning into academia, Neha built an impressive career in the banking sector spanning over nine years. She held key positions, including Location Head at Edelweiss Capital Finance (Uttarakhand), Regional Sales Manager in the Business Banking Group at IndusInd Bank Ltd (Uttarakhand), and Portfolio Resolution Manager for Business Assets at Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd (Uttarakhand). Her previous roles also include Business Acquisition Manager at HDFC Bank Ltd and Credit Relationship Manager at ICICI Bank Ltd, where she served both in Uttarakhand and Delhi. 

Her publications reflect her commitment to exploring emerging financial technologies and their implications for the Indian financial landscape. The research interests lie at the intersection of finance and technology, with a focus on:
