Monika Prakash Singh is conducting research on medicinal plants. She received her MS Pharm degree in Natural Products from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (NIPER), Mohali, India. She is the in-charge of Pharmacognosy laboratory, co-incharge of Herbal Museum of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Shoolini University. She holds over two years of industrial and two years of teaching experience and has attended various MOOC courses, faculty development programmes, national and international conferences and workshops.
During her MS she worked on Standardization, Monograph and Tablet formulation of ancient herbal vati formulations per Ayurvedic Formulary of India.
At present, Monika Prakash Singh is engaged in extensively reviewing the least explored Himalayan medicinal plants for their ethnomedicinal uses, phytochemistry and biological effects.
