Lakshita Rao

Lakshita is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. She began her academic journey with a Bachelor's in Pharmacy from Kurukshetra University, followed by a Master's in Pharmaceutics from the same institution.  

Her research focuses on the development of novel drug delivery systems, particularly for cancer and diabetes. Asst Prof Rao is also exploring the therapeutic potential of herbal substances in pharmaceutical applications. 

With more than 4 years of teaching experience, she offers a unique combination of academic rigour and practical insight to her role. Her academic contributions include the filing of three patents, over 30 articles and book chapters in Scopus-indexed journals, and the authorship of 11 textbooks for diploma-level pharmacy courses.  

Asst Prof Rao has also cleared the GPAT exam three times, in 2020, 2021, and 2023. Her practical teaching approach focuses on real-world applications, simplifying complex concepts for her students. With her strong research capabilities and dedication to teaching, she is a valuable asset to the academic community at Shoolini University.
