
Dhriti Kapoor
Assistant Professor
Dhriti Kapoor is an Assistant Professor at Shoolini University with over nine years of teaching experience at Lovely Professional University, Punjab, and affiliated colleges of the University of Delhi. She completed her MSc in Botany in 2009, followed by an MPhil in 2011 and a PhD in 2015 from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. During her doctoral studies, she was awarded a fellowship under a UGC-funded research project.
Her academic career includes the successful supervision of 18 MSc dissertations and four PhD scholars. Her research spans plant stress physiology and biochemistry, phytoremediation, plant growth regulation, and ecotoxicology. She is exploring how plant growth regulators, nutrients, and gasotransmitters influence the physiological, biochemical, and molecular responses of crops under both biotic and abiotic stress conditions.
She has received several awards in recognition of her scientific contributions, including the Young Scientist Award (2021), Research Excellence Award, and Research Appreciation Award for three consecutive years. She has also won the Best Poster Award four times, and has been listed among the top 2% scientists in the world by Stanford University and Elsevier for three consecutive years.
Her academic output includes more than 165 peer-reviewed international publications, an international patent, and the editing of five books in the field of plant sciences. Deeply committed to environmental conservation, she actively follows developments related to biodiversity and climate change.
