Bhaskar Goel is a Professor and Associate Director of Academic Operations at Shoolini University.
An alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, he completed his M Tech in Production Engineering and PhD at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, affiliated with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala. His research primarily focuses on Precision Machining, where he has made significant contributions.
Prof Goel brings over 12 years of industrial experience, having worked in Production and Industrial Engineering at HMT Limited, Tractor Division, Pinjore, and Indo Farm Tractors, Baddi. This extensive industrial background deeply informs his academic approach, blending practical insights with theoretical expertise.
He has published over 15 research papers in reputable SCI and Scopus-indexed journals, offering valuable insights into machining productivity and precision engineering. He is the author of a book on Machining Productivity Improvement and holds a notable portfolio of design and utility patents, with five patents granted. His mentorship has been instrumental for five postgraduate students.
Beyond his academic and research endeavours, Prof Goel actively participates in the professional community. He has attended and organised over 40 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and both national and international conferences. His commitment to professional development and knowledge dissemination is widely recognised.
Prof Goel was the Leading Patent Filer at Shoolini University in April 2022. His expertise in productivity improvement and cost reduction has been acknowledged multiple times by HMT Limited, where he received awards for his strategic innovations.
