Avinash Sharma
Assistant Professor
Avinash Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Biotechnology at the School of Bio-Engineering and Food Technology. He completed his PhD in Biotechnology at Shoolini University, where he also earned his M Tech and B Tech in Biotechnology. His extensive research focuses on extracting and purifying bioactive phytonutrients and their biomedical applications, both in vitro and in vivo.
Asst Prof Avinash Sharma has a distinguished research portfolio, with numerous high-quality research articles and book chapters published in reputed SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and books. With over four years of experience, Asst Prof Avinash Sharma has filed two utility patents.
He teaches various subjects to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, including Microbiology, Biosensors, Downstream Processing, Cell and Molecular Biology, Plant and Animal Biotechnology, and Food Biotechnology.
