Anita Chauhan is currently serving as an Assistant Professor and Psychologist at the School of Law, Shoolini University, Solan (HP) India where she teaches Psychology and does psychological counselling of students, faculty and staff members of the university. She has received PhD (2010) in Psychology from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla (HP) India. In addition to it she has done PG Diploma in Clinical Psychology from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla (HP). She holds 9 years of teaching and counselling experience with people suffering from mild to major psychological disorders, childhood disorders and drug addiction. Asst Prof Anita Chauhan is proficient in counseling, psychotherapies such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, humanistic psychology, contingency management, exposure therapy, existential psychotherapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, solution-focused therapy, functional analytic psychotherapy, coherence therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
She is the convener of Himachal Pradesh for Indian School Psychology Association (InSPA), Pundicherry, India and an active member of Asia Pacific School Psychology Association (APSPA), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
