Yogananda Career Academy and Centre for Defence Studies launched
Now, students with the passion to join the services at the Central and state-level will have access to expert faculty and coaching, right here at Shoolini University. Yes, with the inauguration of the Yogananda Career Academy and Centre for Defence Studies on the campus, UG and PG students can get coaching to crack preliminaries, mains, and prepare for Defence Forces, UPSC and SSB exams and interviews.
During a virtual inauguration ceremony, Lt Gen KJ Singh (retd), former Western Army Commander, launched the academy. He is currently serving as a Haryana State Information Commissioner. Lt Gen KJ Singh (retd) said students have many career choices in Armed forces and Civil Services and they should take up challenges and fulfil their dreams. He said enrolling in the Academy would prove very beneficial for aspirants.
Shoolini University Chancellor Prof PK Khosla welcomed the guest speaker and said the Career Academy would provide Shoolini students the opportunity to shine in Civil Services as well as other competitive examinations.
Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla congratulated the organisers and thanked Lt Gen KJ Singh (retd) for sparing the time for the inauguration. He appealed to the students to nurture their dreams and ambitions, which was the only way to achieve the highest level in a career.
Mr Vivek Atray, former IAS officer and visiting faculty at Shoolini University, also a well-known motivational speaker, said this was a very inspiring moment for students. He thanked Lt Gen Singh (retd) and the organisers of the Academy.
The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Col TPS Gill, OSD to VC and organiser of the inaugural ceremony. He thanked all dignitaries present during the inauguration.
The session was moderated by Mrs Poonam Nanda, Dean Students Welfare Shoolini University. She reiterated that the academy was a great opportunity for students to achieve their dreams in Indian services.
