Shoolini's Biotech Dept participates in Himachal Premier League (HPL)
The students and faculty of Shoolini University’s Biotechnology School participated in the Himachal Premier League (HPL), which was organized to commemorate World’s AIDS Day. The Himachal cricket cup saw participation from famous personalities of HP versus media, on 1 December at Thodo Ground, Solan. The event was organized to highlight and spread awareness about the burning theme of Nasha Mukht Himachal.
Our students Prashant, Piyush and Kapilesh along with faculty members, including Ms. Suman Sharma (Office Assistant - Biotechnology), Chandresh Thakur (Assistant professor - Biotechnology) and Dr. Nitika Thakur (Assistant Professor - Microbiology), also presented a poster highlighting the harmful consequences of drug misuse. The students stressed on the war drug abusers face within themselves, when are addicted to drugs and alcohol.
Their poster said,
“Apna he aks bhi nhi dekh pa raha
Nashae ki chadar nae kuch ease gheraa
Gumm ho gya astitav
Kaise pehchanu apna he chehra???”
Students also participated in Nati, the traditional dance of Himachal Pradesh, and received applaud from Nati King Mr. Kuldeep Sharma.
