Shoolini University Shines in the 8th National Moot Court Competition
Students of The School of Law participated in the 8th National Moot Court Competition held at Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat from 10th -11th March 2018. Shoolini University was represented at this prestigious event by Ms. Megha Sharma (LL.B), Ms. Aditi Sharma (B.A. LL.B) and Mr. Vikrant Sangwan (LL.B).
According to the participants, the opportunity provided by the Geeta Institute of Law proved to be an enriching experience owing to its unconventional and challenging moot propositions and high standards of judging.
A total of 36 teams throughout India had participated in this event. Mooting is an integral part of law curriculum as it immensely helps the students in developing their advocacy skills as they take part in simulated court proceedings, usually involving drafting memorials or memoranda, and participating in oral argument.
Shoolini University has recently introduced professional courses such as BA LLB and LLB, BA Journalism and Mass Communication, BA (Hons.) English and MA English Literature, B.Sc. Yoga and B.Sc. Hospitality & Hotel Management.
