Shoolini University organizes an unforgettable retreat experience
A Spiritual Retreat is being organised in Shoolini University from 20th June-24th June, 2018 in association with Yogada Satsang Society at India under the aegis of Swami Krishnananda Giri.
Shoolini University takes an initiative to provide an excellent opportunity to understand the various techniques of meditation besides satsanga and individual counselling. Unlike other institutions, Shoolini is laying emphasis on yogic science.
Yogananda Ville is also being inaugurated by Swami Krishnananda Giri on International Yoga Day i.e. 21st June, 2018 at the campus. This ville is conceived to become a universal village where people and global scholars will be able to live peacefully, meditate and undertake yogic discourses and research. The ville is nestled among pines of the Himalayas and its lush green surrounding provides an ideal destination to relax, rejuvenate and restore inner peace. It will have meditation huts, an academic block, an international hostel, a meditation hall and recreational facilities. It will also have naturopathy and wellness centre for which the funding from the Department of AYUSH approval has already been received.
The theme of this retreat is The Bhagavat Gita with one day each marked for Karma Yoga, Gyan Yoga, Bhakti yoga and Raj Yoga. The retreat would also comprise of Gita chanting, meditation, energization exercises, satsanga, basic techniques of meditation, interactive yoga class, videos and bhajans.
The members of Spiritual Retreat and students of INSPIRE camp students will also be participating in International Yoga Day partnering with district administration. Over 1000 students, staff and other people will be present in the yoga day celebration at Police Ground Solan.
Shoolini University has also initiated unique programmes like BSc, MSc and PhD in Yogic Science. A team of five members of Yoga faculty has proceeded to Yunam Mizu University, Minzu, China for assisting them to organize Yoga techniques on International Yoga Day on June 21, 2018.
