The Hon’ble Governor of Himachal Pradesh, Acharya Devvrat visited Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences on 17th October, 2015. Acharya Devvrat addressed a gathering of students and staff of the university and spoke on the issue of drug abuse. He also administered an oath to the students and staff of the university to keep away from drugs.

To strengthen our Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Yoga as a globally uniting force’, Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences
has proposed to set up an institute of Kriya Yoga research and spiritual pursuits under the banner of Yogananda Ville. A Bhoomi Poojan and Havan ceremony for the same was conducted by Swami Krishnand ji along with the university management today at university premises.
Smart Materials will play an integral part in the innovations and advancements of existing technologies of the 21st century. This was the conclusion of the two-day National Conference on ‘Smart Materials- Advances in Research and Techniques’ held at Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences in November 2015.

A delegation consisting of three members under the Chairmanship of Prof P.K.Khosla, Vice Chancellor, Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences, is back after 12 days academic tour from August 24 to September 4, 2014 to China and Taiwan. In China the delegation attended the Himalayan University Consortium (HUC) meet from 24-26 August, 2014 and Cultural Roundtable Conference on the Silk Road Economic belt, 23-27 August, at Lanzhou University, Lanzhou, China. The HUC meet was attended by delegates from India, China, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan alongwith a host of experts on mountain development from Scandinavian countries, Europe and USA. This offered an excellent opportunity to the delegation to develop international tie-ups. Prof M.Hadi Hedayati, Vice Chancellor, Kabul University has requested the Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences to assist them in establishing College of Biotechnology and Biomedical Engineering at Kabul University. Prof Hadi will be visiting Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences in mid October for signing the MoU.
