Dr. Kamal Dev has a PhD from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore in Biochemistry and postdoctoral research from National Institutes of Health (NIH), USA. Professor at Shoolini University, he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate students of Biotechnology and Microbiology. He is currently involved with research to harness extremophilic microbial biodiversity of Himalayas for societal benefits and develop phytochemical based formulations to manage multi-drug resistance. He is coordinator for DST-FIST facility on proteomics at Shoolini University. Dev is also a visiting scientist at University of Minnesota, St. Paul, USA.
