Three days of excitement and scintillating activities during the e-induction programme held for newly admitted students draws to a close at Shoolini University on Thursday evening.
The students participated with great enthusiasm in the interesting activities and academic learning sessions. The virtual Yoga session proved a great hit with all students as everyone realizes the significance of fitness during these challenging times. This was followed by a detailed introduction to the MyShoolini App and open elective courses. All freshers participated enthusiastically in the fun poll, ‘Know Your Campus'.
Expert lectures were delivered on various themes, including ‘Say no to Drugs, Safety on the Road’ and ‘Social Media’. This was followed by a guest lecture by Vivek Atray, former IAS officer and TEDx speaker. The students greatly enjoyed the Bollywood Dance session at the end of the day.
Students learnt about the working of the e-Univ platform in detail and were also introduced to writing seminars, which go a long way in improving a student’s proficiency in English.
An amazing story-telling session was conducted by Sandeep Kocchar, innovative and inspirational speaker and storyteller.
The induction programme ended after an interaction of freshers with their faculty members and seniors during the ‘Meet and Greet’ session.
Vice-chancellor Prof PK Khosla appreciated the efforts put in by the students and faculty members for the successful e-induction and wished them a great and fruitful academic session ahead.
