Where IBM, AWS, Sirena Technologies, and IIT Ropar are not names on a brochure. They are written into your degree. Set in the Himalayan foothills, 6,500 feet up, on a campus that looks like nowhere else in Indian higher education.

Bengaluru-based Sirena Technologies builds industrial-grade robotics and humanoid systems. In April 2026, they moved a working team onto the Shoolini campus for three months. Not for a demonstration. For live project work alongside students inside the Yogananda XR and AI Research Centre. The result was a functioning Robotics Centre that students now use. That does not happen at a campus that simply claims to have AI. It happens at a campus that industry trusts to be ready for it.
"Organisations the world over are looking to fill skill gaps in AI, automation and robotics. This centre reiterates Shoolini's focus on innovation embedded into our pedagogical design, enabling students to become creators and problem-solvers before they enter the workforce."
Core computer science foundations with a specialisation of your choice from Year 2. You graduate as a specialist with AWS Academy certification and real cloud infrastructure on your resume, not just a degree.
Not CSE with an AI elective. A dedicated four-year AI engineering degree. Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, and Robotics from the start, with the IIT Ropar AI+X joint certification built into the transcript.
A Shoolini student going into an interview has already built and deployed a real AI system on cloud infrastructure, worked alongside industry engineers on campus, and holds a co-issued IIT Ropar credential.
Autonomous AI pipelines that act and decide without human prompts. Shoolini students build and deploy these in Year 2.
Humanoid robots and industrial automation. You will have worked on live systems alongside Sirena engineers — a head start most graduates will not have.
Build products around foundation models. Requires knowing how LLMs work internally. Shoolini students build them, not just use them.
Auditing and governing autonomous AI systems. One of the most in-demand and least-trained-for roles in engineering right now.
Shoolini published a research AI system for breast cancer detection targeting rural India. Students see this at undergraduate level, not as a case study.
Understanding how LLMs reason at a systems level. Companies are hiring for this. Almost no university trains it explicitly. This one does.
Because of what is actually on campus, not what is written in a brochure. IBM and AWS are curriculum partners. Sirena Technologies moved engineers onto campus and built a Robotics Centre there in April 2026. The IIT Ropar AI+X joint certification is embedded in the BTech AI degree. 13 faculty members appear on Stanford's global Top 2% researcher list. And the campus itself is in the Himalayan foothills in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, unlike any other engineering campus in India.
CUET, JEE Main, JEE Advanced, and SAT are all accepted. If you have not yet appeared for a national entrance exam, you can sit Shoolini's own MCQ test, available online or on campus. Any qualifying score is considered.
A 15-credit AI minor co-issued by Shoolini University and IIT Ropar. It is formally embedded in the BTech AI degree, not an optional add-on or a separate certificate. Both institution names appear on your transcript.
Yes. Shoolini's campus in Solan, Himachal Pradesh is fully residential with on-campus hostels, cafeteria, sports facilities, and wellness infrastructure. The Himalayan setting provides safety and focus that urban campuses cannot replicate.
Yes. ₹5 crore in merit scholarships is available for Batch 2026. Awards are merit-based and assessed on academic profile. Your admissions advisor will walk through eligibility on the callback.
