Dr. Saurabh Kulshrestha

Professor of Biotechnology and Dean for Research & Development at Shoolini University, Dr. Saurabh Kulshrestha is actively engaged in teaching and research at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. A biochemist by training,he has received his Ph.D. in Biosciences from JamiaMilliaIslamia, New Delhi.Dr. Kulshrestha has also pursued two postdoctoral assignments--one from University of Kentucky, USA and another from Max - Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research Köln, Germany.

Saurabh is involved in research work related to plant-microbe interaction and biocontrol agents and has successfully completed two research projects funded one each be DST and DBT, Govt. of India. Saurabh has also initiated work on water purification using plant material like Moringaoleifera (funded by HIMCOSTE) and is currently pursuing that in collaboration with Lanzhou University, China. He is also pursuing a project on the use of microalgae for air purification and secondary metabolite production (funded by MicroAlgae Development Energy Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi).
