BSc (Hons) Biology Research (4 years)
BSc (Hons) Biology Research is an undergraduate course that undertakes the study of life and living organisms. The curriculum has been specifically designed to focus on the structure, function, evolution, etc., of all flora and fauna. Our graduates study and analyse the distribution, taxonomy, and properties of all forms of life.
A course in Biology covers the study of five unifying principles of Biology. This includes genetics, homeostasis, cell theory, evolution and energy. It teaches students the anatomy of plant and animal cells, the interconnection between living things and the empirical study of animal behaviour.
The most critical thing that the course teaches is the study of the unifying principles of Biology, which are governed by evolution, homeostasis, energy, and genetics. BSc in Biology differs from BSc in Biotechnology, as the latter deals more with the application of the principles of Biology, and the former is more of a pure science study.
