Faculty of the Future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The School of Design<\/a> provides students an unparalleled learning experience facilitated by accomplished and passionate faculty members. The program is mentored and headed by Prof Amit Ray<\/a>, who initiated the Design School at IIT Kanpur. Prof Ray was head of the B Des Program at IIT Kanpur, India, and an Adjunct Professor at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Campus, Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talking about the booming Design career in India and abroad, Prof Amit Ray said, \u001cWith the increasing demand for designers in India and abroad, the 4-year B Des program has become an important stepping stone towards becoming a successful professional. Very few Design Schools in India offer undergraduate degrees in Design, making the B Des program at Shoolini University even more valuable. Equipped with this degree, you can be sure you will never face unemployment as a designer.\u001d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another star faculty member at the School of Design, Shilpa Ranade<\/a> (Adjunct Professor), comes to Shoolini with over two decades of experience. She has been teaching Animation and Design at the Industrial Design Centre at IIT Bombay since 2001.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to her academic work, Prof Ranade is an accomplished professional designer, animator, and filmmaker. Her animation film \u0018Goopi Gawaiya Bagha Bajaiya\u0019 won several awards, including the National Film Award for Best Animated Film in 2013. She has also designed and illustrated several books, including \u0018The Mouse\u0019s Marriage\u0019 and \u0018The Cloud Eater\u0019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The faculty members bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the classroom, having worked in the industry and academia for several years. During a recent visit to the Shoolini campus, Prof Ranade delivered a series of lectures on Visual Communication (Animation) to B Design students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ranade also engaged with the students in interactive sessions, allowing them to ask questions and participate in discussions. She encouraged the students to think critically and approach their work with creativity and innovation. Students learnt valuable lessons from Prof Ranade\u0019s deep knowledge of the subject and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
