The prestigious International Centre For Genetic Engineering And Biotechnology (ICGEB) has offered collaborations with Shoolini University in the area of immunology, TB research, plant Biotech, bio fuel and genomic. Shoolini University was host to over a team of renowned scientists from across the country for the annual ICGEB retreat. “I hope the biologists at Shoolini will take advantage of the huge intellectual and infrastructure available at ICGEB”, said one of the delegates in the meeting held with the Vice Chancellor Prof PK Khosla and senior management of the University. The delegation was received among others by pro Vice Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla, Founder Trustee, CFO Mr Vishal Anand and Vice President of the Foundation for Life Sciences and Business Management Ms Avnee Khosla. On the scientific front, Dr. Dinakar M. Salunke, the Director ICGEB, appreciated the progress made by Shoolini University. He said appreciated the research being done by the faculty and students of the University. Dr. Dinakar also appreciated the presence of Prof. PK Khosla, who despite his surgery, came to meet the delegates. Prof Atul Khosla presented a plan for furthering the research at Shoolini, which was much appreciated by the dignitaries present. “I hadn’t received such a warm welcome even at my marriage” said Dr. Naveen Khanna, a renowned immunologist, in a lighter vein.
