Shoolini University of Biotechnology and Management Sciences has a dedicated and student-driven proactive placement cell, which looks after all activities related to career development, training and placement of students.
In coordination with different faculties and schools, the Cell conducts campus placements through a gala event ‘Placement Week’, which is the first of its kind in Himachal Pradesh and is also in conformity with the IIMs and other top business schools in the country. During the placement week a large number of MNCs and leading companies visit our campus for on spot placements.
The purpose of having ‘Placement Week’ is to provide a strategic platform to synergize and facilitate interaction between education and industry with an idea to provide our students jobs in corporate sector and industries, creating opportunities for students’ project-based learning and industrial training.
- Top placements of MBA final year students (Batch 2013) in Multinational companies. The average per annum package works out to Rs 4.5 lakh. The highest package offered was Rs 11 lakh. Our main recruiters for MBA were Marsh India, Genpact, Abacus Offshore, ICICI Prudential, AegonReligare, C- Step, Anand Toyota, Meridian Medicare, NCCS, Neva, Shivalik Bimetals and India Infoline.
- Venus Remedies Ltd, Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Corona Remedies, Meridian Ltd, Macleods Pharmaceuticals Ltd., RK Laboratories recruited 40 M Pharmacy students to look after the Research and Development, Quality Assurance and Production of their Units. The average package per annum offered by these companies was Rs 2.5 lakh.
- Twenty students of Biotechnology and Microbiology were recruited by Biomeureux, Sri Nanda Biotech, Regeneration Technology, LCGC Chron Consumable, Panacea Biotech, Bio-Genic. The pay package offered by these companies range between 2.5 lakh to 4 lakhs per annum. The highest pay package offered was Rs 6 lakh.
